Spinler named Vita Plus swine technical salesperson

Mikayla Spinler recently joined the Vita Plus team as a swine technical salesperson. She will serve swine producers throughout Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska. In her role, Spinler will visit with producers to provide nutrition and technical support in addition to aiding Vita Plus sales staff with resources, training and guidance.

Spinler recently graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, with a Ph.D. in swine nutrition. While there, she conducted industry-relevant research including evaluating precision feeding lysine to lactating sows and evaluating split-suckling strategies. She also developed a practical tool to help producers determine optimal levels of dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) for growing and finishing diets.
